Suki Nabarro - Painters

I am a 28 year old professional artist/painter from Portsmouth, South of England. From my studio I create unique original paintings on canvas.

Much of my work derives from photographs I have taken or found, and magazine pages I have manipulated into collage form. I translate these onto canvas in acrylic paint, using various techniques I have developed throughout my artistic journey so far.

Colour and shape are defining characteristics of my work. I often spend many days mixing colours. Like the melody comes before the lyrics in music, colour comes before the composition in my paintings.
